“Victims For Sale” By Nish Amarnath

Victims for sale review

These days I have started reading thriller novels. My friend suggested that I read “Victims for Sale” by the author Nish Amarnath. Victims for Sale is a great book that depicts the struggles journalists undergo in their work lives. The protagonist of the story is Sandy Raman. She is a young journalist. When Sandy is in Mumbai covering the Mumbai bomb blast, she gets to know that her boyfriend died in the same blast. After her boyfriend’s death, she decides to go to London to do a Master’s program in media governance. She convinces her family and goes to London. In London, the ordeal of her boyfriend’s death keeps haunting her in her sleep.

She lives as a paying guest with the Sawant’s, a traditional Indian family that stays in Britain. Gradually she discovers many strange and weird things about the Sawant’s. She is shocked when she comes to know that the Sawant’s are connected with an organization involved in human trafficking.

Grab a copy of this book and read it for yourself to know what happens next. The story is so gripping and nail-biting that you cannot stop yourself from reading it at one stretch. The author has used a rich vocabulary. The plot, narration, and the writing style of Nish are something that I really appreciate. This is a must-read book for all thriller lovers. The cover of the story gave me goosebumps. Looking forward to the next book from Nish. The pace of the story is quite fast and there is a lot of suspense in the book that leaves a lingering effect long after you have read it.
